| Nina Boyd has been an artist since she was seven years old. After studying art in California she is now working as a freelance artist. She mainly works in two dimensional media, with fantasy and fairy tale themes. She draws her inspiration from the illustrator Josephine Wall; the artists Maxfield Parrish, Jerry N. Uelsmann, and all surrealists; plus various photography of the singer Sarah Brightman. Other influences are all types of music, the use of text by William T. Wiley, and the characters of her own imagination. Ms. Boyd also accepts commissions (custom pieces upon request), so be sure to contact her at artstarz@yahoo.com, with a description of your desired piece, if you don't see what you are looking for. |
